Write your own About page (please).

No one wants to read "We are passionate about delivering best-in-class solutions." Five exercises for finding your actual voice — and why it matters more than ever.

Your About page is often the second-most-visited page on your site, and it is almost always the most generic. The fix is not better adjectives. It is specifics: who you actually are, who you actually help, and what you actually believe.

Try this: write the page as if you were emailing a friend who asked what you do. Keep the sentences that sound like you. Delete the ones that sound like a press release.
